What does a change management professional do?

Managers working in organizational change management help oversee the transition process when a company is making a major change. In this role, you help their management team implement recommended changes, communicating with all parties involved about how it may affect work practices, corporate culture, and hierarchies. As a manager, you must also find workers who can be leaders and aid in the implementation of changes. Your responsibilities also involve identifying people who are resistant to change and helping them to cope with the new workplace practices. You also provide training and information sessions on new changes, especially when it involves software or other IT issues.
