What are some product development jobs?

Product development has a number of different phases, and specialized jobs exist in each phase. Researchers determine (or theorize) what commodities are experiencing demand in the marketplace, whether the market can support another competitor, and they assess the possibility of developing an entirely new product that can satisfy consumer demand in new or novel ways. Product development engineers have the most quintessential job in the product development process, designing new products from scratch, using computer drafting software and specialized prototyping tools. Further in the process, graphic designers and marketers create narrative positioning for the new product and manufacture additional consumer demand.
