How to become a maintenance worker?

Career: Maintenance

Maintenance work does not necessarily require vocational schooling or advanced training, as most training is done on the job. The basic educational requirement is usually a high school diploma or equivalent degree. Candidates with more education and specialized sets of skills may be more desirable. New maintenance workers receive job training by observing and helping more seasoned workers. Entry-level maintenance workers start off with basic duties. Once workers have demonstrated their talent and skill, they may be given more complicated maintenance and repair tasks.
