Job description

The YMCA Childcare Branch (Afterschool/Day Camp) is seeking a bilingual, service-oriented, "smile-can-be-heard" candidate to join a dynamic, caring, and diverse Team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, the Team Member will provide front-line support to customers by responding to inquiries, managing customer complaints, and conducting account management in a timely and appropriate manner. To do well in this role, the Team Member should demonstrate emotional maturity, have experience with computers, and have reliable transportation with an ability to maintain a fixed schedule.

Home Office: Moorland at Oak Cliff Family YMCA. The staff member will complete a training period at our Coppell YMCA and transition to the Moorland at Oak Cliff Family YMCA in November.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Communicate with customers through various channels (email, phone, in person)
  • Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints.
  • Become an expert with our YMCA and Childcare Brand and programs.
  • Assist with registration questions, forms, financial assistance applications, and requests.
  • Communicate and coordinate with colleagues, as necessary.
  • Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
