    About the TeamWe recently brought the Uber Shuttle magic to multiple Event Venues in the US and we're looking for a strong leader to help grow this business at the existing locations while looking forward to the next set of target venues. This is an opportunity to be a part of a startup within an established company and to help shape this team and this product offering for the US and Canadian markets.About the RoleThis role is based in Washington, DC or NYC and reports directly into the GM US&C, Uber Shuttle. The Events & Venues, US&C, Uber Shuttle will be responsible for existing Event Venue Shuttle operations, progress towards monthly revenue and operational targets, and our strategy around growth and expansion.Attention to detail, problem solving, analytical thinking, and organizational skills are a must

    Additionally, you must be comfortable with presenting to senior internal and external stakeholders and project managing many parties. The team has worked very hard to build this business, gain venue partnerships, create fleet partnerships, and nurture stakeholder relationships to launch these types of programs and we want to do everything we can to take this to the next level. This role is best suited for people who are comfortable working on unstructured early stage problems.What You'll Do- Strategy: - Responsible for monthly and annual targets and coming up with a strategy to hit them - Long term strategy to make sure the Event Shuttle business is scalable and sustainable - Continuous thought around improving launch processes and timelines for new launches - Analyze metrics consistently to make decisions around routes, stops, vehicle counts, etc

    to grow the existing business sustainably - Evaluate future venue and event opportunities and create a plan for program expansion- Fleet Partner Relationships: - Develop and maintain relationships with our current event shuttle fleet partners and help them grow with Uber. Build and drive engagement through various channels. - Make sure fleets and drivers are hitting SLAs on existing partnerships - Train and help fleets and drivers to use our Uber Shuttle technology to run their side of the operation as smoothly as possible - Work with suppliers to gather feedback and build cases to advocate for their requests to be built into our products- Program / Project Management: Collaborate with cross functional teams such as our customer service team, product, business development, regulatory, and event and venues teams to ensure program health and growth- Scale: Find opportunities to optimize, streamline or automate processes to improve the scalability- Drive Product Market Fit: Identify solutions to improve the product market fit and work with the Uber Shuttle product team to drive improvements- Problem Solving: Deep dive into our most challenging problems on customer growth, cost reduction, and retention and develop solutions through first-principle thinking & robust analysis- Analyze Data: Keep tabs on the metrics and dive into the network, rider, and driver metrics to validate your hypotheses and make data driven decisions- You'll be responsible for creating forecasts and projections for the success of each event and venue program that you oversee and manage to goals specified in your projections- You will present progress towards these projections and goals on a regular cadence to Uber Shuttle and Mobility leadership- Be an owner: We're building a business and there's a lot that we don't know.

    You will need to be a self-starter that doesn't shy away from facing challenges and takes initiative to ensure we move the business forward.Basic Qualifications- The ability to clearly communicate and present information to stakeholders across all levels of the business- Strong business and operational acumen as well as critical problem solving skills- Willingness to travel 3-4x per quarter- Proactive and creative solutions-driven approach, with a "get it done" attitude- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets with the ability to help visualize data for internal and external presentations- Must have experience using SQL to research, study and answer real world questionsPreferred Qualifications- Prior experience in operations, consulting, business development or account management is a plus- Comfort with leveraging AI to improve efficiency in your day-to-day workFor New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year.For Washington, DC-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year.For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
