Job Title: Inside Sales Associate - Moving & Logistics
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:

Pittsburgh Moving PGH LLC is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Inside Sales Associate to join our small, family-owned team. This role focuses on reaching out to customer leads & sales inquiries, partnering with Operations to coordinate residential & commercial moves, while delivering excellent customer service.
Candidates must be based in the Pittsburgh area and have familiarity with local neighborhoods, traffic patterns, parking, and other logistics that impact moving operations.
This is a hybrid role, with a mix of in-office, on-site, and remote responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Provide accurate estimates and explain service options
  • Perform virtual and on-site walkthroughs to provide accurate moving estimates for customers.
  • Use local knowledge to assess logistics and potential challenges.
  • Follow up with leads to close sales and schedule moves.
  • Contact scheduled clients to confirm details and expectations prior to move day.

  • Ensure all paperwork, inventory, and job notes are complete and accurate.

  • Maintain customer records and assist with scheduling and dispatch coordination
  • Process contracts, invoices, and payments
  • Resolve customer concerns in a timely manner
  • Support general office tasks (data entry, filing, scheduling, communications with Operations team)
  • Collaborate with marketing to generate leads, including building relationships with apartment communities, senior living facilities, storage providers, and other referral partners
Schedule:
  • Full Time:  40 hours/ week
  • 9:00am-5:00pm, 5 days/ week (Scheduled to work Saturday)
  • Off Days:  Sunday & 1 day during week (Flexible to discuss the 2nd off day of week)
Qualifications:

  • Must be location in or around Pittsburgh, PA.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in inside sales & customer service, with moving/ logistics industry as a plus.
  • Comfortable working on a computer daily using Gmail and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Customer-focused problem-solving mindset
  • High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
Benefits & Pay:

  • $35,000 - $45,000/year (negotiable) +  ~10-20k commission.
