Sr. Manager, National Account Agency Operations

LOCATION:

  • Remote (Texas preferred) with travel up to 50% to accounts, events and sales conference.
  • Opportunity to work in available office space at a regional GEICO office, not required

GEICO seeks highly motivated and experienced Sr. Manager, National Account Agency Operations to join our team. The successful candidate will directly report to a National Account Director and will be responsible for working within a discrete group of key accounts and creating and implementing strategic account plans to increase sales profitability, written premium and policies in force. This exciting role will have a direct influence and impact on GEICOs market share in America's largest agencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage account call center locations, assist with broad reach and other electronic group training and advancement campaigns.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key account location managers, producers and account influencers to influence preference for GEICO and their affiliate products.

  • Build, execute and present location specific strategic account plans, and forecasts to achieve company objectives and sales targets supporting the NA Director strategic roadmap for specific accounts and products.

  • The chosen candidate should possess executive communication and negotiation skills and a strong ability to collaborate and build relationships with customers and internal teams from corporate headquarters to regional to individual office locations.

  • Responsible for working with all GEICO product lines i.e. Private Passenger Auto, Commercial Auto & Trucking

  • Collaborating with the GEICO distribution and process teams to share and execute growth strategies, provide process guidance, and spend time with field and inside reps engaging National Account agency locations.

  • Facilitates calibration sessions with Field and Inside sales resources to build consistency on the execution of NA account strategies, call subject consistency and other growth/quality initiatives

  • Coordinate sales strategies clearly and accurately with AOM field counterparts to ensure NA account strategies are cascaded appropriately into all relevant deployments

  • Communicate regularly with, and to customers and GEICO Field and Inside sales leadership to proactively identify and address any concerns or issues while maintaining excellent customer service.

  • Collaborate closely cross-functionally with internal teams such as service, underwriting, sales support, and IT to ensure roadmaps and communication for key initiatives and projects remain aligned and well distributed to key function team members.

  • Establish additional target agencies with similar operating characteristics as resources and experience allow.

  • Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate actions to remediate performance.

  • Work with your Director to establish staff execution plans to grow production to goals in assigned locations, and territories/states.

  • Support and execute innovative and practical solutions with go-to-market strategies across all sales deployment groups for commercial and personal lines products.

  • Regularly monitor Agency onboarding and enablement, collecting and elevating opportunities to improve the agent experience, driving preference and sales.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 + years of experience as an sales resource involved with large, complex customers.

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or related field

  • Proven track record of successfully developing and translating sales strategy into results.

  • Experience collaborating with key resources and stakeholders, influencing decisions and managing work to achieve both short-and-long term strategic goals.

  • Attention to detail and ability to adapt to ongoing change.

  • Exceptional written, verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Compliance with GEICO's driving standards and/or policy.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of experience in the personal and commercial lines and related coverages in all sizes and shapes of agencies.

  • MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred.

Annual Salary

$115,825.00 - $181,425.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
