Job description


We are looking for a talented Production Associate - Level II to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in York, SC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Ensure Safety: By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you'll help maintain a safe work environment.
  • Report Incidents: Promptly reporting any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards will contribute to a proactive safety culture.
  • Compliance: Adhering to HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations ensures that all safety and environmental guidelines are met.
  • Use PPE: Consistently using appropriate personal protective equipment will protect you and your colleagues from potential hazards.
  • Promote Team Safety: By looking out for one another and promoting interdependence, you'll foster a supportive and safe workplace.
  • Environmental Awareness: Recognizing and minimizing the negative impact of your work on the environment will support sustainability efforts.

Operators are responsible for providing the small hand tools required to perform their assigned duties and must maintain excellent housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Success in this position requires strong teamwork, a willingness to assist fellow operators when needed, and the flexibility to perform multiple functions throughout the day to support material flow and achieve production objectives.
