Job description

Introduction to the job
The U.S. Indirect Procurement team plays a critical role in enabling ASML's growth by driving strategic sourcing and managing key supplier partnerships across all indirect spend categories.
As a Category Manager for Facility Management, you will lead procurement strategies across two primary areas: construction and integrated facility management (IFM), supporting capital projects and long-term facility services.
While construction and IFM represent the core focus of this role, you will also support adjacent facility-related categories as needed, as part of a broader, integrated category approach.
This role sits at the center of ASML's U.S. expansion. While the core focus is supporting the Wilton, CT site, this role has increasing visibility and influence across ASML's broader U.S. footprint (17 sites), in close partnership with Corporate Real Estate (CRE) and global teams.
In this role, you will drive commercial value, standardize sourcing strategies, mitigate risk, ensure compliance, and build strong supplier partnerships across these categories.
Category Scope
  • Construction
Partner closely with Corporate Real Estate (CRE) to support building expansions, renovations, and capital construction projects primarily based in Wilton, CT.
  • IFM (Integrated Facility Management)
Lead sourcing and supplier management for hard and soft facility services primarily supporting Wilton, CT, with opportunities to influence strategies and supplier decisions across other U.S. sites in collaboration with CRE and global IFM leadership.
  • Additional Facility-Related Categories
Support sourcing initiatives across adjacent facility-related spend areas as needed, ensuring alignment with overall facility and site strategies.

Role and responsibilities
  • Category Strategy & Execution
    • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for construction (Wilton-focused) and IFM (primarily Wilton with broader U.S. influence)
    • Support alignment across adjacent facility-related categories as part of an integrated sourcing approach
    • Partner with CRE to influence project scope, commercial models, and supplier selection early in the project lifecycle
    • Identify and drive opportunities for supplier consolidation, cost optimization, and standardization across sites where applicable
  • Stakeholder & Supplier Management
    • Act as a strategic partner to CRE and IFM leadership in Wilton and across the broader U.S. and global organization
    • Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and lifecycle management for construction, IFM, and related facility suppliers
    • Establish and manage supplier performance frameworks focused on cost, service quality, and reliability
  • Procurement Operations
    • Lead complex RFPs, commercial negotiations, and contract execution in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Compliance
    • Ensure strong contract governance, risk mitigation, and compliance with procurement policies
  • Market Intelligence
    • Stay current on market trends in construction and facility management, including supplier models and pricing structures
    • Leverage market insights to inform sourcing strategies and influence investment decision
  • Collaboration & Tools
    • Leverage procurement tools and data to track performance and support decision-making
    • Collaborate closely with global Indirect Procurement colleagues to align with and leverage global category strategies where applicable, while ensuring local site needs are effectively represented
    • Contribute to cross-category initiatives and sharing of best practices across the global procurement organization

Education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field required
  • 8+ years of procurement experience, including construction and/or facility management categories
  • Experience partnering with Corporate Real Estate (CRE) or IFM organizations strongly preferred

Skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business needs into sourcing strategies
  • Experience negotiating complex, high-value construction and service contracts
  • Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and presenting sourcing recommendations
  • Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Familiarity with risk and compliance considerations in construction and service-based contracts

Travel Requirements
  • Travel approximately 25%, including regular engagement with Wilton, CT, other U.S. sites, and global teams in the Netherlands

Additional Responsibilities:
There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
