We are hiring a Quality Engineer to support Steelcase Quality objectives and serve as the customer advocate in the total Supply Chain - from our supply base through product development and manufacturing, to our customers.

You'll Support Meaningful Work By:
  • Supporting Steelcase Quality objectives and serving as the customer advocate throughout the total Supply Chain
  • Supporting FMEA-based risk mitigation activities
  • Designing and evaluating manufacturing quality assurance systems, procedures, and statistical techniques
  • Managing functional responsibilities across cross-functional teams
  • Specifying inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment
  • Analyzing production and service processes and recommending specification revisions when needed
  • Formulating or contributing to quality assurance policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • 4-6+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or a technical field
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams
