At Storr Office Environments, our Sales Associate role is the launchpad for a successful career in sales within the workplace solutions industry.
This position is designed for individuals who want to learn the business, develop consultative selling skills, and grow into an Account Manager role. During a structured 12–18-month training and development program, you will work closely with experienced sales professionals, gain exposure to real client opportunities, and build the knowledge needed to manage your own accounts.
Our goal is simple: develop talented individuals into successful sales professionals.
What You'll Do
As a Sales Associate, you will support our sales team while building the skills and industry knowledge needed to succeed in consultative sales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with Account Managers to support client opportunities and sales initiatives
- Meet with walk-in and inbound prospects to understand their needs and recommend solutions
- Prepare quotes for smaller opportunities (typically under $10,000) and follow up with clients
- Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and project discussions
- Assist with proposals, presentations, and bid responses
- Research products and solutions to support client projects
- Maintain selling activity in the CRM system
- Help coordinate order fulfillment for opportunities you manage
- Maintain showroom organization and product displays
You will also work toward quarterly sales activity and revenue goals, while delivering strong customer service and accuracy in your work.
Training & Development
