No Manufacturing Experience Required | Paid Career Readiness Training | Free Transportation

Quad is seeking motivated, dependable individuals to join our Project Impact Trainee Program, a unique opportunity designed to help you launch a career in manufacturing while providing the support and resources you need to succeed.

In partnership with Running Rebels, participants complete a paid five-day Career Readiness Workshop before beginning work at our Hartford, WI manufacturing facility. The workshop includes professional development, mentorship, financial literacy, conflict resolution, team building, and workplace readiness.

The next cohort begins September 28, 2026.

Position Summary

As a Manufacturing Associate, you'll help produce magazines, catalogs, newspaper inserts, and other printed products while learning the printing process from the ground up.

Responsibilities include:

  • Removing printed product from production equipment
  • Stacking, sorting, and packaging finished products
  • Loading collator hoppers
  • Palletizing finished materials
  • Moving materials using pallet jacks and Big Joe lifts
  • Supporting press and finishing crews
  • Following quality and safety procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Working as part of a team to meet production goals

Schedule Requirements (Required)

This position requires working 12-hour rotating shifts.

Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Choose one schedule:

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, and every other Sunday
    OR
  • Thursday, Friday, and every other Sunday

Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Choose one schedule:

  • Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday
    OR
  • Wednesday, Thursday, and every other Saturday

Applicants must be able to commit to one of these schedules consistently.

This position requires:

  • Repetitive bending, twisting, reaching, and stacking
  • Moving pallets and materials using powered equipment after training

Before You Start

All selected candidates will complete the paid five-day Project Impact Career Readiness Workshop before beginning work at Quad.
