As the Clinical Director, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic oversight of all clinical functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and nurturing a high-performing, compassionate clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all clinical functions, including assessments, individual and group therapy, family programming, aftercare planning, utilization review, and crisis intervention.
- Provide supervision and professional development for clinical staff, including onboarding, ongoing training, treatment team leadership, and documentation review.
- Collaborate with program and corporate leadership to drive continuous improvement and execute the clinical strategic plan.
- Monitor clinical outcomes, client engagement, and quality assurance processes to ensure effective care delivery.
- Oversee curriculum development and the implementation of evidence-based practices in partnership with divisional clinical leadership.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards, representing the program in audits and reviews.
- Participate in operational meetings, marketing initiatives, and address issues related to documentation, EMR, billing, and program efficiency.
- Manage clinical crisis situations and provide stabilization support as needed.
- Directly supervise all clinical staff, ensuring appropriate training, support, and adherence to clinical standards.
Qualifications
- Active Virginia license as an LCSW, LPC, or LSATP.
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in behavioral health, substance use, or human services.
- Strong knowledge of clinical best practices, compliance standards, and staff development strategies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
