Pyramid Healthcare Poconos is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients, staff, and visitors. If you take pride in your work and enjoy being part of a supportive healthcare team, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

Clean and sanitize patient rooms, clinical areas, offices, lounges, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces
Change and replace linens in client rooms following discharge
Restock bathrooms and supply areas with linens, toiletries, and other essentials
Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
Complete assigned cleaning checklists accurately and on time
Follow infection control procedures, safety guidelines, and standard precautions
Use cleaning chemicals and supplies according to company procedures
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility
Assist with additional housekeeping duties as needed

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Previous housekeeping experience preferred
CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications are a plus

What We're Looking For

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to problem-solve and respond appropriately in urgent situations
Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude

Physical Requirements

This role requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and work in a healthcare environment where exposure to illnesses or behavioral health situations may occur.
