Job description

AIM:

The Human Resources Coordinator supports daily HR operations and ensures efficient administration of HR processes, with a strong focus on maintaining accurate employee data within the Paycom HRIS system. This role assists with recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations while ensuring adherence to Arkansas and federal employment laws.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/Expectations:

  • Maintain and manage employee records in Paycom, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of HR data.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure all onboarding documentation is completed and entered into Paycom.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and responding to employee inquiries.
  • Assist with payroll processing by auditing Paycom data for accuracy, including timekeeping, PTO, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state (Arkansas), and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Track and manage employee training, certifications, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating employee handbook policies and HR procedures.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support employee relations efforts, including documentation and investigations as needed.
  • Generate HR reports and analytics from Paycom to support management decision-making.
  • Coordinate HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Handle Payroll for Hourly associates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources business administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a coordinator or administrative role.
  • Hands-on experience with Paycom HRIS preferred.
  • Knowledge of Arkansas employment laws and federal regulations (FLSA, FMLA, EEOC, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with payroll processes and benefits administration.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional office setting with frequent support on the Plant floor for our team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to provide support to our associates on the plant floor (375,000 sf. facility)
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
