Job description

Job Type
Full-time
Description
At Rently, we're transforming how people find and access rental homes through smart, self-touring technology. As an
Implementation Project Manager, you'll own the client onboarding experience from contract signature to a confident,
successful go-live - and you'll run it like a project. You'll manage complex, multi-workstream accounts, drive
timelines and cross-functional teams to plan, resolve escalations, and serve as the trusted advisor clients count on.
This role blends hands-on implementation work with the planning, coordination, and accountability of formal project
management.
Requirements
PROJECT MANAGEMENT & DELIVERY
  • Own the end-to-end implementation plan for complex, high-priority accounts - defining scope, milestones, deliverables, and go-live dates.
  • Build and maintain project schedules, track dependencies, and manage critical path across smart home, access control, and self-guided tour workstreams.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources - field techs, vendors, sales, and finance - to keep every implementation on time and on scope.
  • Identify, log, and mitigate project risks; escalate blockers early and drive them to resolution.
  • Manage scope changes through a clear change-order process tied to stated assumptions and site conditions.
  • Report project status, health, and progress to clients and internal stakeholders on a regular cadence.

CLIENT SUCCESS & RELATIONSHIPS
  • Own end-to-end onboarding for complex accounts - from kickoff through a clean handoff.
  • Build strategic relationships with key stakeholders and serve as the primary point of contact during implementation.
  • Deliver tailored platform training to new and existing clients.
  • Proactively troubleshoot issues, resolve escalations, and ensure a smooth go-live experience.
  • Coordinate a clean handoff to the post-implementation team 30 days after go-live.

TECHNICAL CONFIGURATION & PROCESS
  • Configure and integrate new clients into Rently platforms, including partner integrations.
  • Partner with Sales to gather all necessary account details for a seamless implementation kickoff.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed client and project records across Salesforce, ZenDesk, Dialpad, and Confluence.
  • Track and communicate implementation progress through CRM and project reporting.

TEAM & PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
  • Identify process gaps and contribute ideas that strengthen the team's implementation playbook and project management standards.
  • Consistently meet OKRs and KPIs, and actively participate in team meetings and retrospectives.
  • Champion Rently's best practices and a culture of collaboration.
  • Other tasks as assigned by manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications
REQUIRED
  • 4+ years in an implementation, onboarding, or project management role at a SaaS or proptech company.
  • Demonstrated experience running projects end to end - scoping, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • 1-2 years hands-on experience with Salesforce, ZenDesk, or comparable CRM/support tools.
  • Strong technical aptitude - you can quickly learn new platforms and troubleshoot creatively.
  • Excellent communicator: clear, concise, and confident across written, verbal, and client-facing settings.
  • Skilled at managing multiple high-priority accounts and workstreams simultaneously without dropping the ball.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

NICE TO HAVE
  • Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) or formal PM methodology experience.
  • Experience in proptech, real estate, or property management.
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools and with Confluence for internal documentation and process mapping.
  • Comfort with Google Workspace tools for day-to-day collaboration.

Who thrives here: You're energized by a fast-moving environment and take genuine pride in seeing clients succeed. You bring structure to complexity, keep multiple moving parts on track, and hold teams accountable to the plan. You ask questions, find creative solutions, and don't wait to be told what to do. You're as comfortable in a technical configuration session as you are running a status call or a client kickoff - and you leave every one having made a good impression.
