Overview

Develops new and existing national carrier partnerships through effective collaboration. Serves as key advocate and primary contact in our carrier relationships. Responsible for identifying efficiency and revenue growth opportunities with our carriers and implementing carrier best practices. Works closely with key stakeholders such as Operations, Sales, IT and Business Development to ensure that the processes and systems support business objectives.


Responsibilities
  • Builds, grows, and retains strong carrier relationships by providing customized quality service.
  • Identifies present and future performance gaps; translates gaps and organizational needs into an action plan to achieve key performance metrics. Identifies needs that can be met through Paychex offerings and those that require alternative approaches or process improvements.
  • Serves as coordination and communication lead for resolution of internal and external carrier issues or new requirements.
  • Supports onboarding of new carriers by obtaining required documentation, setting expectations, and partnering with development resources.
  • Provides high level support to existing carriers and keeps them informed through virtual and on-site presentations.
  • Plans, coordinates and implements strategic programs for Paychex. Partners with Sales, training, and other internal departments and operations to ensure education on our carrier feeds.
  • Maintains knowledge of industries, relevant systems and carrier practices, as well as changes in federal, state, and local benefit law and policies to ensure Paychex carrier feeds meet the needs of the client.
  • Compiles data and provides information, feedback, and reports to management on carrier performance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • 3 years of experience in As a trained and qualified EDI coordinator. Experience using one or more programming languages and database software.
  • 1 year of experience in Leadership role.

Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the compensation range for this position is typically $55,866.67- $87,790.47 annually. This range includes BOTH base pay plus commissions but does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
