Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the maintenance team by setting direction, supporting hiring and scheduling, and coaching performance to build a skilled, engaged crew.
- Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing safety programs, coaching safe work practices, and ensuring compliance across maintenance activities.
- Plan and oversee maintenance work to ensure high-quality execution, reliable equipment performance, and minimal disruption to mill operations.
- Manage systems, resources, and budgets by using the CMMS to track work and parts, improving equipment reliability, and controlling maintenance spending.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in an industrial environment
- At least 1 year leading a maintenance team
- Knowledge of wood products manufacturing or similar heavy-industrial operations
- Comfortable using CMMS and MS Office
