Job description
JOB.TITLE, OU.LOCATION, CUSTOM.STATE
Interfor is looking for skilled, safetyfocused, and motivated Industrial Millwrights to join our team in Timmins. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our mill running at peak performance by maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing industrial equipment across the operation.
This position offers competitive compensation at 42.81 per hour and a Monday to Thursday, nights, afternoons and days rotation with 10-hour shifts.
What You'll Do
- Repair equipment: conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic components, automated systems, etc. (including welding);
- Identify the cause of machinery breakdowns or malfunctions and do the necessary repairs;
- Install/optimize/adjust all the equipment in the mill to maximize its efficiency;
- Respond to emergencies when mechanical breakdowns affect operations;
- Operate machining tools to manufacture parts.
