Job description

Foresite is looking for a Customer Engineer to be the mastermind behind our clients' security implementations, crafting elegant and robust solutions that protect their most valuable assets.

This role is designed for a technical visionary who excels at the intersection of security architecture and creative problem-solving, helping clients build innovative solutions that make a real-world impact.

What You'll Do:

In this role, you will operate at the intersection of Foresite’s cybersecurity expertise and Google’s security technology. You will lead the design and implementation of Google SecOps solutions, tailoring architectures to meet unique client needs. You will partner closely with Google Cloud teams, internal engineers, and sales to identify opportunities, resolve technical blockers, and ensure seamless project delivery.

Design, Delivery & Innovation

  • Architect Solutions: Lead the design, development, and implementation of Google SecOps solutions, ensuring architectures align with client objectives and risk tolerance.

  • Technical Ownership: Support Google Cloud Security opportunities by owning the technical aspects of solutions, delivering product briefings, proofs-of-concept (POCs), and demos.

  • Continuous Optimization: Research and evaluate new technologies to optimize security architectures and contribute to the development of industry best practices.

Strategic Partnership & Technical Sales Support

  • Bridge the Gap: Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and prepare product messaging (white papers, SOWs, and response documents) to highlight value propositions.

  • Identify & Qualify: Collaborate with Security, Business, and Google Cloud teams to qualify opportunities and develop strategies to resolve technical or compliance blockers.

  • Commercial Support: Assist in pricing and commercial discussions, ensuring technical solutions are viable and accurately scoped.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Guide and Mentor: Provide technical mentorship to clients and internal teams, sharing expertise to empower others and drive project success.

  • Cross-Functional Engagement: Interact with Project Managers, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure client satisfaction and organizational alignment.

  • Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of security trends and act as a credible voice for Foresite's security practice in professional environments.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced Pro: You have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 3+ years of experience in security consulting, solutions architecture, or systems engineering within a cloud environment.

  • Security Savvy: You have a strong understanding of security principles (Firewalls, EDR, IAM) and technical expertise in SIEM/SOAR, Threat Intelligence, and Cloud Security (CSPM, CWPP).

  • Strategic Navigator: You can thrive in dynamic environments, with a proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and communicate effectively across technical and executive audiences.

  • Productivity Focused: You possess expert proficiency in using AI systems to accelerate workflows and have impeccable attention to detail in technical documentation.

Nice to Have:

  • Google Cloud Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with Google SecOps (Chronicle SIEM/Siemplify SOAR), Google Threat Intelligence, or the Mandiant Advantage platform.

  • Specialized Knowledge: Experience with AI model security (Model Armor), Managed Browser solutions (Chrome Enterprise), or CSPM tools like Wiz.

  • Industry Credentials: Relevant certifications in Cloud or Security and experience in the retail, healthcare, energy, or chemical sectors.

  • Visual Communicator: Ability to develop detailed network architecture diagrams to illustrate complex data flows and system layouts.

  • Mobility: Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as required.

Why Join the Foresite Team?

At Foresite, we aren’t just another security provider—we are a mission-driven partner helping organizations navigate an increasingly complex threat landscape. We’ve built a global leader in SecOps and MDR by leaning into three core pillars that set us apart from the crowd:

  • The "Google Bet" Has Paid Off: Four years ago, we took a contrarian path by going all-in on Google Cloud. Today, that strategy is validated. As a Google Cloud Security Partner of the Year, we operate at the absolute cutting edge of the industry, offering our team a front-row seat to the future of security operations.

  • Practitioner Credibility: We were founded by security practitioners, and more importantly, we are still governed by them. We speak the language of the SOC because we’ve lived it. This ensures our strategy is driven by technical reality, not just marketing trends.

  • Room to Run: We are at that "sweet spot" of growth—large enough to win global contracts, but early enough that every individual’s contribution directly shapes our trajectory.

When you join Foresite, you are part of a "humans-first" culture where radical transparency isn’t just a buzzword—it’s how we lead. We know that while our technology is world-class, our greatest asset is the practitioner behind the keyboard.

What We Offer:

  • Comprehensive Health & Wellness: Robust medical insurance options to keep you and your family healthy.

  • Employer-Covered Insurance: We fully provide employer-paid Dental coverage, as well as Short-Term (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD).

  • Recharge & Refuel: We believe in a true work-life balance. You’ll start with 3 weeks of paid vacation, plus additional sick leave and paid company holidays.

  • Uncapped Upside: A competitive, results-oriented commission structure with no ceiling on what you can earn.
