Job Description

Provide IT Release Management oversight and support as directed for projects Staged / tagged as candidates for Enterprise / Offers releases

Projects will be staged and delivered in accordance with Enterprise Release Milestones and/or Offers monthly release

Release Manager is responsible for all planning, tracking, communication/status and reporting related to each releases they are assigned

Additional responsibilities include preparing milestones, tracking metrics for project deliverables (Analysis, Design, Development and Testing)

Use a balance of technology and business skills, working closely with IT Teams to deliver outstanding implementations of projects and applications

Work with Business Analysis, Enterprise System Architecture, IT Development and Testing teams to deliver exceptional quality and capability for related projects and functionality in a dynamic and time-to-market driven environment

Successfully manage large / cross functional releases that range from $1 Million to $25+ Million dollars while monitoring deliverables, understanding requirements, and adhering to SDLC methodology and processes in a fast-paced and dynamic delivery organization

Responsible for ensuring that release and change management work follows established standards, processes, and guidelines

Focus on quality deliverables, utilizing strong project management skills

Implement best practices and procedures to improve quality of deliverables and efficiency of execution teams

Provide hands-on mentoring and guidance of project management skills and best-practices to enable partners and empower team players in a success-oriented project team environment

Display clear and effective verbal and written communications skills during interactions with business, project management, team members, and executive management

Ensure that release related issues and risks are identified, understood and dealt with in a manner that mitigates risk to scope, cost, and schedule

Measure results and monitor key performance indicators to ensure release objectives including deferred defect counts are met throughout the year

Coordinate and work with SQA Personnel to ensure the quality of the deliverables

Knowledge in Waterfall and Agile

Release Management experience in similar size: Large / Matrixed environments

Prior PM experience

Tools: Clarity, PowerPoint, MS Project, Excel
