Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
Joining Triple Canopy in this role allows you to leverage your expertise to help detect and prevent acts of violence against a corporation's Security Operations Center located in midtown Manhattan, New York City. This is an exciting opportunity to support a program that strengthens America. This position requires both on-the-job training and travel training. You will need to attend and successfully complete the job training, and you may also be required to complete additional training as a condition of continued employment. Failure to successfully complete the required courses in accordance with Constellis or Client standards and policies may result in demotion or termination, as determined by management and appropriate procedures.
PAY
$30hr.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor physical and technical security operations globally, ensuring corporate and security policies are followed leading to safeguarding of Corporate assets and personnel.
  • Ensure all global office programming access is reviewed, approved, and programmed as advised by the Compliance Department in accordance with guidelines.
  • Assist the ASOC in enforcing access control and critical space access policies.
  • Assist with coordinating response to security incidents, unauthorized entries, and policy violations, ensuring proper escalation and resolution.
  • Test and audit security systems globally
  • Ensure and coordinate relevant communication relays to JOC supervisors and specific Client stakeholders.
  • Assist the wider global security team and its partners to manage emergencies and resolve incidents.
  • Oversee incident response protocols and documentation.
  • Any other tasks necessary in connection with the above.
  • The work environment is exclusively office based. You may be required to perform work on a shift and rotational basis. You must be ready to work overtime on a scheduled or unscheduled basis in excess of the 40-hour work week. This position does not require a uniform. The requirement is business attire unless otherwise authorized, e.g., "business casual."
  • May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Candidate must possess a minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience in security operations, command center operations, or law enforcement.
  • An Associate's Degree (two years) or higher is preferred.
  • On a case-by-case basis, a combination of education and work experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for this position.
  • You will need to attend and successfully complete the job training, and you may also be required to complete additional training as a condition of continued employment. Failure to successfully complete the required courses in accordance with Constellis or Client standards and policies may result in demotion or termination, as determined by management and appropriate procedures.
