CPA - EA

Looking for a professional to join a fast growing team of top CPA’s and Financial Advisors in a fast-paced tax practice and financial planning branch. This amazing team of Financial Planners and CPAs have been working together for 20+ years in a bright, beautiful environment. MUST have 10+ years of experience. This is an amazing opportunity for a well spoken, well groomed individual with an attitude of service.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid and active CPA/EA license and current and valid PTIN number
• Financial accounting and tax experience: 10+ years
• Knowledge of QuickBooks (Desktop and QuickBooks Online)
• Proficient with UltraTax, Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills are a must
• Payroll knowledge required

Job responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Reviewing client’s books and records; live and after the fact
• Reviewing the staff accountants work; giving feedback, training, etc.
• Prepare financial statements for clients when needed
• Preparation of all types of returns (Federal & State): 1040, 1040NR, 1041, 1120/1120S, 1065, 1042, and 990
• Tax planning, tax projections
• Addressing and resolving IRS/State notices (communicating with the IRS/State, client as well as written responses)
• Performing tax and accounting research
