Mid-Delta Home Health & Hospice, a Christian organization, believes in the power of continual education to help implement best practices to ensure positive healthcare outcomes for our patients. We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join our professional team in Greenwood, MS!

This individual should preferably have two years of college education in a health related field or secretarial science. At least one year of medical office experience is required.

Job knowledge and requirements:

  • A current driver's license is required.
  • A degree from an accredited school, college or university.
  • Possesses the ability to develop and maintain cordial relationships without compromising work performance.
  • Exhibits excellent verbal communication skills to manage telephone communication effectively.
  • Exhibits written communication skills sufficient to prepare accurate reports, call lists, physician referrals, letters requesting or transmitting information, receiving or sending physicians orders.

We are currently seeking RNs to join our professional staff in Belzoni, Brookhaven, Canton, Charleston, Clarksdale, Cleveland, Greenville, Greenwood, Lexington, Yazoo City & Vicksburg. We're also seeking a certified Cardiac RNs with home health and hospice experience. We offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits, Sign On Bonus and point of care documentation.

Mid-Delta Home Health & Hospice is also currently seeking a master level Speech Therapist, Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists to join our professional staff.

Qualifications:

  • A current license is required;
  • Previous experience in home health care is a plus;
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor; and
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
