STAGING

Responsible for preparing the finished prescription as well as other light warehouse duties.

∙ Sort all baskets from V2 according to facility units, location and delivery times
∙ Scans all medication pending for delivery.
∙ Prepares manifests and ancillary paperwork to correspond to appropriate nursing facility.
∙ Retrieve medication totes from PVII pharmacists that are to be scanned for delivery (STATs included)
∙ Check bins before delivery departure for missed meds.
∙ During down times assist pharmacy floor for additional support.
∙ Scans manifests into system for confirmation of delivery.
∙ Prepares back order envelopes for delivery.
∙ Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.

RETURNS

Responsible for processing medication returns in accordance with State mandates and criteria, and reconciling expired meds.

Key Responsibilities:
∙ Check returned products for expiration dates.
∙ Ensure products are disposed of according to expiration dates and required handling procedures.
∙ Make appropriate entry into system to reflect quantity of medication returned and whether product was credited to be re-stocked or sent for destruction.
∙ Keep the credit returns area orderly and clean at all times.
∙ Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.

Tech license is not required.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent.

M - F, 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (flexible, but the hours need to be consistent)
