Job Description

Supporting primarily our vascular surgeons in all areas of treatment by providing patients with compassionate high quality care. They may also be responsible for supporting general surgeons. This is a very fast-paced, high volume office.
Assisting the physician in clinic, providing wound care to patients to include Unna boots, pulling drains, suture / staple removal, and setting up for sterile procedures. M
Manage patient phone calls, RX refills, schedule radiology, and complete FMLA and disability paperwork for patients.

Qualifications and Job Info

Education / License required: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified / Registered Medical Assistant.
A minimum of two years experience supporting a busy physician, General surgery experience required, vascualr or vein experience preferred.
Strong clinical skills in office procedures, sterile technique and wound care required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi task required. Previous NextGen experience preferred.
