Job Description

Do you have a knack for troubleshooting electrical control programs? As an Automation Field Service Technician, you will integrate, troubleshoot, and program electrical control systems for various bulk material handling and conveying equipment. You will travel (50-90%), to all locations where the equipment is sold throughout the world. When not traveling, you will work in our Neenah, Wisconsin office to enhance programs, create manuals, maintain reports, and other duties as needed.

Qualifications and skills:

PLC experience with RSLogix 5000 is required
Ability to travel 50% of the time
2-3 years exp with field service/technician preferred (machine commissioning, systems trouble shooting, customer relations)
2-3 years exp preferred in controls engineering (PLC, HMI)
A strong commitment to safety, placing safety as a priority above all else
Knowledge of wiring practices (NEC, UL) and electrical principals
Strong customer service skills with the ability to understand the customer’s point-of-view
Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving abilities with both electrical and mechanical systems
Two year technical or vocations degree preferred
A current, valid passport and a clean background to enable unrestricted travel
Bi-lingual skills a plus
MSHA certification preferred
