Job Description -

Schedule: M- F (up to every other weekend (Saturday and/or Sunday), but still no more than 40 hrs/week)
This role is hybrid (3 days onsite and 2 days remotely) in NORMAL- can be 3 days in a row onsite if worker prefers
Location: Normal Illinois

Top mandatory skills/qualifications:

  • Experience partnering with General Contractors and Facilities during construction implementations for manufacturing buildings, data center build-outs or expansions related to manufacturing support.
  • Experience and knowledge of structured cabling, division 27 standards, AV standards, and telecom/construction drawings for both office and industrial environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading the implementation and refreshes of enterprise server, data, and backup solutions (e.g., Data Centers, NAS, Backup, DR, Server Patching within controlled manufacturing environments, Active Directory, Server OS Upgrades).
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing principles, migration strategies, and deployment experience in at least one major provider (AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform).


The overall planning, execution, and delivery of critical Infrastructure programs supporting both factory build out and enterprise needs will include:

  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels, bridging technical discussions between manufacturing, engineers, SMEs, and senior leadership.
  • Define the program charter, roles, tasks, milestones, budgets, and measures of success for each initiative.
  • Develop estimates and detailed plans to manage the end-to-end program execution, ensuring alignment with production schedules and deployment windows.
  • Ensure manufacturing and business requirements are captured accurately and completely.
  • Facilitate cross-functional sessions for planning, alignment, and design across disparate teams (e.g., ME Engineers, Network Engineers, SRE DevOps, Facilities Designers, and LV AEOR Designers ).
  • Using disciplined project management methodology to define scope, develop program plan, and execute sub-projects that adhere to guidelines and deliver within cost and schedule.
  • Using problem-solving/critical thinking skills, and independent thinking to overcome challenges.
  • Develop robust program risk management plans to ensure timely delivery, testing and commissioning of all projects with no impact to business continuity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience partnering with General Contractors and Facilities during construction implementations for manufacturing buildings, data center build-outs or expansions related to manufacturing support.
  • Experience and knowledge of structured cabling, division 27 standards, AV standards, and telecom/construction drawings for both office and industrial environments.
  • 8+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional IT infrastructure projects and programs, specifically within a manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale infrastructure implementations involving integration between plant floor systems (OT) and enterprise IT.
  • Demonstrated experience leading the implementation and refreshes of enterprise network solutions (e.g., Multi-site connectivity, Factory LAN/WLAN, DHCP, DNS).
  • Demonstrated experience leading the implementation and refreshes of enterprise server, data, and backup solutions (e.g., Data Centers, NAS, Backup, DR, Server Patching within controlled manufacturing environments, Active Directory, Server OS Upgrades).
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing principles, migration strategies, and deployment experience in at least one major provider (AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform).
  • Demonstrated experience in project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Google Suite tools.
