Job description

Yaskawa America, Inc. - Drives & Motion Division proudly offers undergraduate engineering students the opportunity to take advantage of our internship and co-op programs. The primary and underlying focus of the program is to give you a real-life look at what engineers do in the world of automation. We encourage you to put your education into action and get hands-on training by working on everyday engineering projects. Our overall goal is to provide students with various real and exciting projects to work on, as nothing beats true field experience.
Yaskawa America, Inc. is currently looking for an IT Help Desk intern to work on the following projects at our Waukegan, IL location:
  • Provide phone and email support for users
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, deploy equipment and document solutions.

Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science with a sophomore or junior standing.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work with a team
  • Has a passion for learning and exploring new ideas
