Full Time schedule + call. This Registered Nurse position works in Cath Lab at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center.
Willing to train an experienced ICU or Tele RN looking to learn or expand skills.
About our Cath Lab:
The Cardiac Catheterization Department is composed of 2 rooms. One is a new “Million Dollar Renovation” in 2022 where our patients are prepped for procedures and recovered post procedure. Our team works with high risk, high acuity patients and pride ourselves in superb outcomes. Join a close knit group of health care professionals highly dedicated to the positive outcomes of our cardiac patients.
What you'll do:
You’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients before, during, and after their cardiac procedures.
Cardiac catheterizations and PCI procedures, high risk procedures. Impella or IABP protected "Left Main" PCI, CTO, lithotripsy therapy, rotational atherectomy, and laser technology are utilized in our labs. As a STEMI Receiving Center and a Chest Pain Accredited Program, you will have the opportunity to care for the emergent STEMI patients.
Additionally, we do PFO closures, as well as thrombectomies. The ability of extracting a pulmonary embolism is new technology that has proven extremely successful for our patients.

Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality care based on established clinical protocols and physician/provider orders. The RN collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care and desired outcomes, while maintaining a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
Essential Functions
Participates in performance improvement initiatives, including data collection and process development, to enhance patient outcomes and care delivery.
