Summary
Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical/brake/cooling systems, hydraulic systems, starters/alternators, air conditioning systems, fan clutches, engine electronics, power steering systems, engines (gas and diesel), transmissions (manual and automatic), clutches, and/or differentials.
Maintenance, such as changing oil or oil/fuel filters, inspecting vehicles for mechanical deficiencies, checking battery, auxiliary pumps and engines, tire pressures, headlights, and lubricating equipment. 2. Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical/brake/cooling systems, hydraulic systems, starters/alternators, air conditioning systems, fan clutches, engine electronics, power steering systems, engines (gas and diesel), transmissions (manual and automatic), clutches, and/or differentials. 3. Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers and vendors. 4. Maintain safety culture and compliance. 5. Purchase and retrieve parts. 6. Maintain company issued service truck. 7. Utilize relevant information technology and applications for documenting work.
WHAT'S REQUIRED
- Valid Driver's License and must meet minimum driving qualification standards. • Vehicle service and repair experience or technical school education or equivalent combination of education/skills/experience. • Mechanical Knowledge • Vehicle Maintenance • Information Technology Savvy • Customer Service • Time Management • Entrepreneurial Nature & Independent Mindset • Deploying Safety Equipment, Devices, and Procedures • Critical Thinking • Possess and supply a set of own hand tools necessary to perform required job duties. • Ability to work flexible hours according to customer needs • Proficiency in using required information technology • Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to pass DOT Physical
