Senior Software Engineer

Location: Columbia, MD Salary: $230,000 Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Employment Type: Full-Time

She Recruits is representing a senior-level Software Engineer supporting complex analytics and real-time processing systems. This role develops and enhances processing-intensive analytics systems and extremely large datasets within secure environments.

Required Experience:

  • 20 years as a Software Engineer in programs of similar scope
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Big Data experience: HBase, Accumulo, Hadoop, Hive, Pig
  • HDFS, MapReduce, JSON/BSON

Technical Environment:

  • Java Application Development
  • REST services
  • Virtual machine management
  • Python scripting for automation
  • Atlassian tools, Git
  • IntelliJ or Eclipse
  • Kubernetes (preferred)
