- Role
- As a Quality Management Engineer at tsmc Arizona site, you will co-work with Taiwan Central quality team to support tsmc quality mission by leading and inspiring world-class quality systems. Your primary responsibility will be establishing quality systems, collaborate with process integration, Fab engineering, manufacturing teams, incoming material and site QA teams to achieve quality KPI requirements to ensure the highest quality of product.
- Responsibility
- Drive global compliance to manufacturing quality standards and success of fab quality system certifications.
- Providing quality guidance to ensure product success at launch and throughout high volume technology ramp.
- Monitoring, analysis of the wafer fabrication process, equipment parameters, manufacturing, factory facilities, and incoming material react to wafer quality indicators and quality events.
- Applying statistics process control methods to establish and sustain a robust manufacturing process control. Standardizing, and documenting control models and methodologies.
- Predictive analytics and statistical applications including modeling, machine learning, data science, process control methods, and developing and implementing methods for specialized applications.
- Qualifications
- B.S. or higher in Mathematics, Statistical, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics field.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and development, 300mm/22nm technology below is better.
- Understanding of the Fab Processes and Flow.
- Comfortable with multi-tasking and analytical skills.
- Lean, 6Sigma, statistical training, and robust data analysis skills.
- Experience with SPC, statistical analysis packages, statistical modeling, feature extraction, data mining, machine learning, and other advanced analytical methods.
- Fluency in Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Tableau to programming and visualize data.
- Fluent in English speaking and writing, conversational Mandarin (desirable).

- Be able to balance the business need of the factory with maintaining QUALITY.
- Must be willing to relocate to Taiwan for extended period for training.
- Must be a self-motivated, highly organized, and have an ability to work independently and coordinate projects in a team environment
