Azure Administrator

Position: Azure Administrator

Location: Richmond, VA

Duration: Full time

Job Description:

• Should have 10+ years of IT experience and worked as a senior azure administrator for 5-7 years in implementing, managing, monitoring, and maintaining Microsoft Azure solutions, including major services related to compute, storage, network, security, and governance.
• Must have worked in agile methodology and be well versed with the same.
• Must have Azure AZ-104 and AZ-305 Certifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, applied in a customer facing environment
• Must have had enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience configuring and operating Azure services including Azure VM, Storage, Scale Sets, Availability Sets, Load Balancers, Landing Zones, Blueprints, WAF/NVA, Monitor, Advisor, Sentinel, Cloud workload protection, Key Vault, Express Route/VPN, AD Connect and RBAC.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with developing and/or maintaining Cloud provisioning templates with IaC technologies (e.g., Terraform, Azure ARM)
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Enterprise-scale technical experience with Microsoft Security and Compliance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Configure and operate Azure services including Azure VM, Storage, Scale Sets, Availability Sets, Load Balancers, Landing Zones, Blueprints, WAF/NVA, Monitor, Advisor, Sentinel, Cloud workload protection, Key Vault, Express Route/VPN, AD Connect and RBAC.
• Developing and maintain Cloud provisioning templates with IaC technologies (e.g., Terraform, Azure ARM)
• Implement Azure Cloud Governance principles and best practices
• Implement Data encryption and protection key services.
• Implement Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR)
• Enable enterprise scaling an application and/or its hosting environment to support increases in traffic
• Configure and administer Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks platforms
• Manage cloud infrastructure solutions (i.e., Windows and Linux IaaS, VMware, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS, containers, and Infra as a code technologies)
• Configure Identity/Security (Azure): Identity, Security Architecture, Security Management and Network Security
• Work with cross functional IT Teams to deliver best in class Azure solutions
