St. Louis City SC is looking to hire a creative Photographer to help tell the story of the soccer club.

ABOUT ST. LOUIS CITY SC:

Major League Soccer's (MLS) first majority female-owned and female-lead organization will play its inaugural MLS season in 2023. The 100 percent St. Louis based owners are committed to becoming an exceptional club and neighbor and a symbol for the future of our city and region.

St. Louis CITY SC will play in a brand new, state of the art soccer stadium to be built on approximately 35 acres in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. Seating capacity of the open-air stadium will be 22,500. Included with the build of the stadium will be the team Administrative Offices and Training Facility immediately adjacent to the stadium in Downtown West St. Louis.

THE ROLE:

• Bring to life club content calendars with innovative and compelling photo ideas
• Capture original photography content to share across social channels and other platforms
• Edit and process photos to fit our style
• Stay on top of platform, photography, and cultural trends that are relevant to soccer and St. Louis

THINGS WE LOOK FOR IN CANDIDATES:

• You need to be able to demonstrate your work through a portfolio or a personal channel.
• Consistency of ideas. This is our number-one currency.
• Examples of digital-first thinking. You need to love the internet and creating in that space
• We are looking for those that love nothing more than to get out into the wild and make, make, make
• Detail-oriented. We need buttoned-up creators that believe in total accountability
• Passion and knowledge of sport (soccer preferable)
• 'Of the internet' thinker - immersed in internet culture
• Master of best practice across social and digital platforms
• Natural storytelling with receipts in fan engagement
• Editing experience (Lightroom, PhotoShop, CaptureOne, etc.)
• Proficient experience of shooting with a variety of cameras (Sony preferable)
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with internal stakeholders
