Repair & Maintenance - Castaway Burbank

Under limited supervision performs work of routine maintenance and repairs; performs related work as assigned.

Pay: $15.50 - $20.00 / hour

Essential Job Duties

• Performs manual labor. Repairing a wide variety of items in the restaurant as well as general maintenance of the facility.
• Must be dressed and well groomed in Company approved uniform at all times.
• Adherence to Company and Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Work varying shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Work extended hours out of doors in varying weather conditions.
• Perform heavy manual labor.
• Operate various types of tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Must wear approved manufacturer certified slip resistant or non-slip shoes at all times while working

Essential Job Requirements
Education/ Experience/ Skills:

• Follow written and verbal instructions. Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Working knowledge of Tools, materials, methods and practices used
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Knowledge of operation of power and manual tools.
• Knowledge of operation of light and heavy equipment.
• High school or 2 year similar experience preferred.
• Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate English.

Travel Requirements:

• Local travel may be required.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to walk and stand for hours at a time. Lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
