Sub Assembly Technician/Mechanic

SmartTalent is hiring for a Sub Assembly Technician at a Machinery Manufacturing Facility in Everett, WA.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6am-3:30pm

Pay: $21-23

Job Duties and Requirements:

• Building packaging machine sub-assemblies

• Checking parts for proper manufacturing installing mechanical components and sub-assemblies into machines according to diagrams and written specifications

• Mounting auxiliary equipment to machine correctly positioning parts and drill, tap and ream holes at designated points

• Aligning and connecting parts together with fasteners using hand and power tools

• Strong customer service skills, a team player attitude & regular and acceptable attendance are required

Required Knowledge:

• 1 year of auto mechanic or industrial/mechanical experience is required

• The ability to read schematics and blueprints is required

• A basic understanding of mathematics principles

• The ability to stand much of the working day

• The ability to lift at least 40 pounds

• The ability to multitask
