Position: Software Engineer - Full Stack Developer

Work Arrangement: Remote / Hybrid for candidates within 50 miles of Pittsburgh
Sigma Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer for a 6-month contract opportunity. This position will join an Agile software engineering team responsible for designing, developing, and deploying complex, scalable applications across digital platforms.
This is primarily a 100% remote opportunity, with preference given to candidates located near Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates residing within 50 miles of Pittsburgh will be required to work onsite 2-3 days per week.
Candidates must be available to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
What You'll DoThe ideal candidate is an experienced Full Stack Developer / Software Engineer who has built large-scale, customer-facing applications and has a strong background developing software within the healthcare industry.
You should be comfortable working across the application stack, participating in architectural decisions, developing scalable solutions, working within Agile/Scrum teams, and mentoring less-experienced engineers.
Candidates with a combination of Java, Python or JavaScript plus React/Angular/Node.js, REST APIs, cloud technologies, and healthcare application development experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
