Business Analyst – Financial Applications Consultant
Location: Saint Louis, MO Client Industry: Water Utility 6-Month Contract Hybrid:2/3; M-F, 8-5
Summary
- Analyst to support Accounts Receivable Department and Billing applications.
- Gather requirements for cloud customer information system (CIS) billing system customization.
- Operational support and delivery of new business demand, establishing priorities and alignment to business strategic objectives, ensuring delivery approaches and technology solutions result in business value and benefits realization.
- As a point of escalation for stakeholders to help build a strong IT-Business relationship.
- Insight of system capability to support key decisions
- With process improvement and/or reengineering.
- Requirements elicitation, using techniques per plan.
- Requirements, establishes scope and objectives.
- Requirements working with business partners and creates conceptual prototypes and mock-ups.
- Business process modeling, traceability and quality management techniques per methodology.
- Requirements management and communication; apply best practices for effective communication and problem-solving.
- With Change Management practices
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Previous experience as Business Analyst supporting billing process or/and software applications
- Knowledge of financial and accounting terminology
- Previous experience in utility industry is highly desired.
- Above average Excel knowledge is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree is a minimum educational requirement.
