Job description

Rockland Federal Credit Union is seeking a Loan Servicing Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our Loan Servicing department, including consumer and mortgage servicing functions. This role partners closely with the Loan Servicing Manager to support team operations, ensure compliance with servicing standards and regulations, resolve escalated member concerns, and help drive operational efficiency across the department.

The ideal candidate will bring strong loan servicing knowledge, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional member experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the daily operations and workflow of the Loan Servicing department
  • Assist with coaching, training, and supporting team members
  • Help monitor servicing activities for operational accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Resolve escalated member and operational issues
  • Assist with audits, reporting, quality control reviews, and process improvements
  • Partner with internal departments on servicing operations and member experience initiatives
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and department projects
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of banking or credit union experience, preferably within loan servicing
  • Knowledge of consumer and mortgage loan servicing practices
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with core banking systems and Microsoft Office applications

In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, we're pleased to share that the base salary range for this position is $70,00 - 72,000 per year, excluding fringe benefits or potential incentives. If you're hired at Rockland Federal Credit Union, your final base pay will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and experience. We also take pay equity seriously and consider the internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please note that the range provided reflects the full base pay for this role. We also offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package designed to support your overall well-being and success.
