Position Summary

The position of the Loan Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to the Department Manager and Loan Officer(s). The Loan Assistant performs a wide range of duties and provides assistance in gathering and compiling data, preparing various reports and maintaining loan files.

Essential Duties: Some duties performed by the Loan Assistant include:

Types correspondences

Assist customers with application process

Assist loan officer with preparation of loan files, renewals, modifications, etc.

Responsible for requesting and obtaining required documents for applicable checklists

Loan Centralization Procedures

Assist loan officer with the preparation of adverse action notices for denied loans

Assist loan officer with credit and collateral exception tracking

Minimum Requirements

Analyze financial statements

Cash flow analysis

Dependable transportation

Written/verbal communication and presentation skills

3-5 years of Loan Assistant experience preferred
