Medical Assistant

PremierMED is seeking to immediately employ a happy and positive and personable addition to our amazing Team! We have an opening for a Medical Assistant (MA) for our growing medical clinic.  This will be approximately 30-40 hours per week.

Medical Assistant Job Description

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office/hospital. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and document basic medical history
• Organize and schedule appointments
• Perform minor Clia waived laboratory services
• Assist during medical examinations
• Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
• Clinical Administrative Assistance as well, check in/check out
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

Skills

• Proven working experience as a medical assistant
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
• Degree in Medical Assistance
• Proficiency in Electronic Health Record
• Injections/Blood Draws/
• Obtain Patient Vitals
• Perform EKG/PFT testing

Job Type: Full-time Available 8-5 M-F
