Very exciting new authentic Italian restaurant, Osteria del Fornaio, is seeking food runners to join our team. Our ideal candidate is polite, attentive and works efficiently in a fast paced environment. Works as a team player; assumes a pleasant and helpful attitude toward guests and fellow co-workers to ensure guest satisfaction. Exemplifies the company's core values of honesty, integrity, respect, commitment and quality.

We provide an excellent training program, growth potential, employee recognition and a great benefits package. We are interviewing everyday during hours of operation: Monday through Sunday from 11:30am to 9pm.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Expedites and coordinates distribution of multiple prepared food orders.

Picks up, garnishes, delivers and serves food in the prescribed manner.

Anticipates and responds to any additional guest requests. Notifies appropriate server of items needing to be added to the guest check.

Performs sidework as directed, to keep the restaurant clean, orderly and well stocked.

Removes china, silverware and glassware from table in prescribed manner.

Clears and resets tables correctly.

Responds to guests' requests by providing water, additional tableware or linens.
