We are currently recruiting for a full-time Supervisor.  Full-time employees are eligible for benefits:  Medical, Dental, Vision, Life AD&D, Paid Vacation Days, Paid Sick Days, Paid Holidays, 401K w/employer match and paid trainings. This location is in Phoenix AZ, 85012


MISSION:

Improving the lives of individuals and families through Native American culturally appropriate behavioral health, affordable housing, and community development services


POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of this position is to direct and manage the day to day operations of the Home Base Youth Shelter.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the safety of staff and youth at the facility.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized appearance of the environment.
  • Maintain respectful, supportive, and encouraging environment in all interactions with youth.
  • Monitor proper implementation of program model by providing supervision of daily living and feedback to Case Managers, Case Aides and Education Specialist.
  • Meet with assigned youth for housing plan development and review progress weekly with the resident.  Teach and monitor behaviors/skills of residents according to individualized plans.
  • Oversees resident admissions, Orientations, and discharges for all residents; HMIS data entry.
  • Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate, submitted in a timely manner and adheres to agency, contractual, licensure, and accreditation requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.


EDUCATIONAL/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred;
  • High School Diploma/GED or five (5) years of equivalent experience
  • Possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card

 

SKILLS REQUIREMENT:

  • Must be or become First Aid and CPR certified within the first 30 days of employment and maintain certification throughout entire employment
  • Must have or obtain a food handlers card within the first 30 days of employment and maintain certification throughout employment
  • Excellent communication skills- written and oral
  • Experience in working with the Native American population preferred and homeless youth
  • MS Office skills
  • HMIS data experience
  • Behavioral Health Training


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Able to sit, stand walk with/ without accommodations.
