Photographer

Job Duties:   Applicant must have experience with taking photos in the studio and on location. Must be familiar with photos taken with various cameras and lighting situations.  Studio photography includes head and shoulders, full length, and passport photos. Must be able to work in various weather conditions and terrain as needed for on location photography. Photographers must be able to work independently, based on both and written instructions, to produce photo feature and picture stories. Provide oversight during photo shoots requiring set up of specialized photographic equipment (lighting, portable backdrops, remote trigger devices, etc.). Be able to consult with customer on site, prior to event, and determine equipment needs.

In addition to performing photography services, this position must provide routine customer service and administrative duties (i.e., answering telephones and emails, entering information into databases, etc.).

Mental/Physical Requirements:  Must be able to perform job duties outdoors in all conditions and terrain.  Willing to work nights, weekends and remain on call as needed.

Experience: Must have no less than five (5) years of experience in photography and be knowledgeable in proper composition and the use of both artificial and existing light source to produce well exposed and technically accurate photography that conveys desired message. 

Preferred Experience/Skills:  Photographer must have knowledge with Adobe Bridge, Adobe Photoshop, and some knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Skills shall include the knowledge and use of various specialized cameras, lights, electronic timing and triggering devices, etc.

Additional Requirements:

Must possess valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to respond to Maxwell- Gunter installation within 45 minutes.

Pass a background check.

Due to this being a federal government contract position, Covid vaccination is a requirement for employment.
