Catering Delivery Driver

Peak times will be 10AM through 2PM Monday- Friday with occasional weekend work available. Organization and delivery of catering food orders to optimize catering and restaurant sales while ensuring adherence to quality, cleanliness, and customer service standards. Essential Function: Responsible for organizing your assigned catering deliveries, arranging GPS directions for all delivery locations, delivering food on time, setting up all orders, and communicating with catering client, restaurant and catering office management. This position will use their own personal vehicle and must be cleared through our corporate office after providing a valid drivers license and car insurance. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for the preparation of certain catering packing items. Responsible for contents of each catering order to which they are assigned. Completion of a check list to ensure every item is provided before leaving the restaurant. Responsible for driving your own vehicle with proper license, tags, and insurance. This position requires knowledge of the general delivery area and the ability to follow GPS driving directions and maps. Promptness is a requirement, both in reporting to a restaurant and in delivering all orders. Responsible for complete set-up of all orders as outlined in your training. Responsible for proper handling of all receipts and COD as needed between the restaurant and our clients. The team member must be professional and adhere to McAlister's Deli dress code while delivering catering orders. Responsible for all communication between catering office, restaurant, and the client as needed (late orders, lost, missing catering items, etc). The team member must be familiar with customer service procedures. Job Specifications: Use of a reliable personal vehicle for catering deliveries. 18 years of age or older. Ability to be self-reliant.
