THE JOB:
As a Kitchen Worker, you'll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dish area while supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations. THE STARTING RATE: $18.05 per hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Break down, load, unload, and sort dishes, glassware, and flatware received in the dish area.
  • Wash and store pots and other kitchen equipment, ensuring they are placed in the correct locations.
  • Operate the dishwashing machine, monitoring and adjusting detergent and chemical output as needed.
  • Inspect clean dishes after washing, stacking them properly in specified carts and shelves.
  • Polish silver, copper, and brass as needed.
  • Transport equipment, such as hot and cold boxes, and deliver to various outlets.
  • Sweep, mop floors, and wash floor mats, along with cleaning baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, and cutting boards.
  • Separate and remove trash, placing it in designated containers, and steam clean garbage cans.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
One (1) year of prior relevant Kitchen experience in similar environment is preferred

Pay Rate
The rate for this role is:
$18.05
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans. Specific program offerings vary by eligibility factors such as geographic location, employment status, and union membership.
