Parts Warehouse Assistant Technician

Maximize customer satisfaction internally and externally by providing technicians and customers timely service. Maintain inventory standards to ensure proper parts picking and allocation on work orders. Ship customer orders in a timely and accurate manner. Retain the ability to work on multiple primary duties at any given time.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receiving:
  • Receive all ground, second day, and NDA parcels via UPS, Fed Ex & freight transit
  • Check all parts order packages for quantity and visual confirmation
  • Allocate all packages to appropriate person and/or department
  • Receive warehouse tock orders from multiple vendors and verify part #s, descriptions, and quantities are correct then add to appropriate bin locations
  • Keep record of all new stock in inventory and properly update bin locations
  • Properly handle all vendor packing slips and PO receipts to ensure they are processed correctly
• Shipping:
  • Ship all outgoing parts orders via UPS, Fed Ex, or LTL
  • Properly handle all paperwork associated with shipment to ensure it is processed
  • Add all associated cost of freight pertaining to each shipment
  • Handle LTL shipments through multiple shippers depending on ship-to locations and schedule all necessary pick-ups
• Delivery
  • Have all parts orders staged for scheduled delivery days
  • Deliver parts to customers on scheduled delivery days
  • Have parts checked off by customer, paperwork signed, customer left with a signed copy, and the signed paperwork returned for processing
• Parts:
  • Pull all parts for Service, Shop, and Parts orders
  • Notify technicians or departments via email of all parts staged and ready to go
  • Stage all service and shop orders in appropriate tech bins or lockers
  • Pull replenishment for consignment customers and tech vans and stage in lockers or for delivery
• Sales:
  • Work directly with technicians when additional parts are needed and add them to the appropriate work orders
  • Assist customers at counter and dock when picking up parts
  • Properly handle all paperwork associated with parts sales

Requirements

• Organizational skills
• Ability to perform strenuous and heavy work
• Can regularly handle loads up to 50 lbs and occasionally exert force up to 100 lbs
• Physical stamina to perform continuously with full body motion for climbing, reaching, pushing, lifting, reaching etc.
