Currently CNTHS has one full-time position teaching science.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate student learning of standards and career readiness skills through project-based learning.
- Contribute to school culture through following school and team norms of trust, respect and responsibility.
- Build a culture of professionalism with all stakeholders through establishing strong relationships.
- Commit to the continuous development and refinement of skills through self-reflection and self-directed learning.
- Effectively use technology to enable learning.
- Use data to drive instruction from formative, summative, and authentic assessments, including the use of rubrics, to evaluate student progress and adapt individual programs to meet the needs of all students.
- Work cooperatively with other personnel to improve instructional programs and the overall operation of the school.
- Communicate with students, parents, and other staff concerning student academic progress, attendance, and behavior.
- Attend and participate in required in-service activities and assist in planning and conducting such activities.
- Perform other adjunct duties as assigned consistent with current employer/employee agreement.
Minimum Requirement
- Possession of a Secondary Biology teaching credential.
- Able to demonstrate effective teaching and computer skills.
