Job Description

We are currently seeking a Men's Associate Buyer who will report to the Men's Senior Buyer as part of our dynamic team in New York, New York.

ROLE

You will develop and execute strategic business-driving initiatives across all departments under Men's business division (Ready-to-Wear, Shoes, Leather Goods, Soft Accessories, and Jewelry).

MISSION

• Assist in monitoring of business to identify challenges and opportunities
• Work closely with partners in Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain, Visuals, CRM, Operations, and Customer Service.
• Execute weekly, monthly, seasonal, and ad hoc reporting
• Analyze sales and define action plans in order to further grow the business
• Create seasonal buy books for stores
• Maintain regular communication with stores to understand market needs, challenges, and opportunities
• Ensure stock optimization through transfers, balances, and consolidations between both stores and warehouses
• Support seasonal buys before, during, and after markets.
• Support in-store activations through the network
• Manage and track sample sets
• International travel to Paris as well as local travel to US stores

PROFILE

• Minimum education: Bachelor's degree
• Minimum years of experience: 3 years in fashion, business or relevant field
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities with strong time management and organizational skills
• Passion for the industry, strong taste level and appreciation of luxury product
• Commercial awareness and strong business acumen, understanding of buying psychology
• Familiar with retail math (stock to sales, sell-through, inventory turn etc.)
